|  |  | After the birth of Lisa and Macintosh, Apple attempted to create a similar GUI for its older generation of machines. GS/OS 6.01 was the latest operating system for 16-bit Apple IIgs, featuring an impressive colour interface very similar to that of early editions of Mac OS.

|  |  | While most of the other features got upgrades after upgrades, Windows calculator (here in Windows 3.0, 95 and XP) received only dusting and tiny facelifts. Is this true for other operating systems? Be sure to check out.

|  |  | Contrary to most other GUIs, OS/2 opted for shredder instead of trash can – this might have been related to the court decision that prohibited Microsoft from using trash can in early editions of Windows. Unfortunately, as with the real-life shredder, this one had no undo feature.
